What is SuperSQE?
SuperSQE is a self-hosted test automation platform for web, mobile, API and performance testing. It pairs an agentic AI engineer (Test Rex) with a no-code recorder and self-healing execution, and installs like an app on your own servers.
Do I need cloud access to run SuperSQE?
No. SuperSQE is fully self-hosted — after install it runs 100% on your servers with no dependency on our infrastructure.
What is bundled with the installer?
The web platform, a Node.js runtime, PostgreSQL, Chromium and the runner agent are all bundled — no prerequisites to install.
How do I try SuperSQE?
Every install starts with a free 30-day trial — no license or payment needed. Activate a purchased license any time from the License page.
How does licensing work?
Licenses are signed files bound to one server and its machine, validated offline. They are sold as annual subscriptions (12 months). See the Licensing docs for activation and renewal.
What happens when my license expires?
You get an email reminder 30 days before expiry, then a 7-day grace period after it. Renew from the client portal — renewal extends the license by 365 days and re-signs the file.
Can I move my license to another server?
Yes. Request a reissue from the client portal and the license is re-signed for the new machine ID. Until then the license stays bound to the original machine.
What test types does SuperSQE support?
Four in one platform: web/browser E2E, mobile, API (including Postman import) and performance/load testing with dedicated workers.
What is Test Rex?
Test Rex is the built-in agentic AI test engineer. Describe a flow in plain English (or paste a requirement doc) and it opens a real browser, logs in, clicks through and builds the test with verified, self-healing selectors.
Do I need to write code?
No. Record tests with the no-code recorder, describe flows in plain English, or import API tests from Postman. Coding is never required.
Can I run tests on other machines?
Yes. Download runner agents from your server and connect them with a token. Agents are version-gated to match your platform.
Where is my data stored?
Everything — tests, results, videos and credentials — is stored on your own server in your data directory. Nothing leaves your infrastructure.
How do upgrades work?
Upgrades are in-place: install the new version over the old one. Your data is preserved and database migrations run automatically. See the Upgrade docs.
How do backups work?
Backup scripts dump the bundled database, uploads and your license file. Restore with pg_restore, then copy uploads and license.lic back. See Backup & Restore.
Do my customers get a portal?
Yes. Every customer gets a client portal with their licenses and machines, downloads, invoices and support tickets in one place.
Can I schedule test runs?
Yes. Schedule suites on daily or cron timers and receive run reports automatically, with video, screenshots and AI root-cause analysis on failures.
What are the editions, and how do I buy?
Three per-server editions: Free (30-day trial), Starter and Enterprise — each with its own users, projects, concurrent runs and Test Rex prompt allowance. Prices are quoted on request — Contact Sales.
